A word, please

Hi! I’m Jessica (you can call me Jess). I’ve written on the agency side and in house across print, digital, email, and experiential marketing channels, from quippy PDP descriptions and direct mail to campaign concepts and data-driven customer journeys. Brands I’ve worked on include Chase, Dell, JennAir, Caesarstone, Gladiator, Whirlpool, Craftsman, Kenmore, Amana, Limoges Jewelry, PBS Kids, Samsung, Hilton, Conagra, Ameriprise, Xfinity, Kraft, CVS — and the list goes on.

My first love, my on-again, off-again lifelong affair, has always been with poetry. Stories. Words that could shake and break you and make you whole. I try to bring a little of that to life in everything I do.

From the blog

It is the spring of 1913, and crowds are gathering, dispersing, being swept away. In March, the Great Miami River unlearns its geography, rolls its shoulders. People congregate on the tops of houses and trees, or what’s left of them, and wait, and watch.
